AFTER SCHOOL DISMISSAL NOTICE (posted 8/6/17)

Families,

If your child is eating breakfast at school, please have them here at 7:10 so they have as much time as possible to eat and get to class on time.  Thank you!

A transportation form was sent home with your child on 8/7/17 for you to complete and return to school with your child.  Please complete and return this form so that we can safely dismiss students and get them where they need to go.

(NOTE: After submitting your child's transportation plan, please make sure any future changes to the plan are made in writing and dated.  Calls to the school with changes may not be received by classroom teachers in time for changes to be made.  It is recommended that you email the child's teacher and get confirmation that they received the changes.  Otherwise, the original transportation plan will be followed.)

Dismissal for the following student groups this week (the week of 8/7/17) will be as follows:

2:00   Bus Riders
2:15   Car Pick-up
2:30   Walkers

If you are coming to the front of the building to receive your child, please spread out on the sidewalk so students can make their way out of the building and are able to see you.  Please do not block the doors at the front entrance.    We appreciate your cooperation while we make adjustments to our dismissal procedures to ensure student safety! We are currently working on a safer dismissal process and appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Kindergarten Parents Only:

Until we transition our school to an improved dismissal system, please plan on meeting your kindergartner 5 minutes prior to dismissal time at the following doors if you are picking them up or walking them home:

-Mrs. Mahaffey and Mrs. Perdue: East door (Door #3)

-Miss Salvado and Mrs. Strohm-Morales: West door (Door #11)

Kindergartners who ride the bus will go with one of the kindergarten teachers to their bus.

Thank You!
